Festival History
Brookline Village Arts Festival is a continuation of Brookline Open Studios, which began in 1986 when a handful of artists living in Brookline opened up their home studios to the general public one weekend in the spring. Since then, BKOS has grown into a recurring event, in which local artists share their work and the process of creating with the Brookline community. In 2025, Brookline Open Studios was re-branded as Brookline Village Arts Festival.
