Let’s get our party on and celebrate a momentous occasion: Winsor Music’s 30th season! We will honor Winsor’s founder Peggy Pearson with celebratory new pieces written by some of Winsor’s favorite composers, invite you to join us in singing new and classic Songs for the Spirit celebrating peace and unity, and raise the roof with a few of everyone’s favorites. Schubert’s Shepherd on the Rock tells the story of love, longing and jubilation through the voice of a shepherd calling across the mountains. Viola powerhouse Marcus Thompson will join Gabby Díaz as soloist for Bach’s jubilant Brandenburg Concerto No.6. We’re looking forward to spending this joyful evening with you! 

Taught by Harvard University Professor Richard Thomas, Bob Dylan 101 puts the artist in context of not just popular culture of the last half-century, but the tradition of classical poets like Virgil and Homer.

Brought to you by Arts Brookline and Brookline Music School, Brookline Porchfest is a community arts event happening all around town. Held on first floor porches or yards in Brookline, residents, family, and friends will enjoy an afternoon of live music by artist from Brookline and beyond. All the participants are volunteers and every venue is allocated a two-hour performance slot of their preference between the hours of 12pm and 6pm.
